St. Patrick’s Catholic School, established in 1953, is operated by St. Patrick’s Parish in Yorktown Heights, New York. St. Patrick’s School complies with all mandates from the New York State Department of Education to offer a program of academic excellence for grades PK through 8. In addition, we provide a complete religious education program as prescribed by the Archdiocese of New York, which includes formal instruction, worship, and service. Weekly visits from our three parish priests enhance daily classroom religious instruction.
Located at 117 Moseman Road, Saint Patrick’s School is comprised of four buildings, containing seventeen classrooms, an Art Room, Music Room, Computer Lab, Library, Gymnasium/Auditorium, and Nurse’s Office. The grounds are spacious and offer large, safe, well-equipped playing areas for each age-level of students. Additional child care is available through our After School Program.
St. Patrick’s School has been accredited by the Middle States Commission on Elementary Schools since 2000. Sixty percent of the faculty hold Masters Degrees. More than fifty percent of our faculty and staff are certified in First Aid/CPR and there is a full-time nurse on duty. The average number of years that our faculty members have been on staff is fourteen.
Saint Patrick’s has a student enrollment of approximately 250. We provide a well-rounded quality education. Our students are nurtured with love, care, and Christian values, so they develop not only their minds but their souls as well. This is our goal and commitment!
